To be honest I can understand how people like Speedy would find it funny a mogul wanted WT- I laughed it off the first three times I heard the rumour. But it's true. And no amount of talking about it on the net will change that.
He might be able to give the RFL a good "Clipper" round the ear-hole if you catch my drift!

Clan; I can see why you thought along these lines of something being off in the deal. Especially with news coming that the current board wanted all interested parties to work together- but our new chairman is a proven successful businessman. You don't get success from bad business relationships and lethal inter personal skills, those land you IVA's- ask Ted.
I dare say we will pay all our creditors in full, because the new head has a near perfect record & will want to strive to maintain that. For what it's worth (and let's not start bragging just yet) but we could be one of the biggest players in SL by the end of business at the middle of the week!

Depends which of the Crecrafts you know. If you mean Bradley then he's come into the successful businesses his dad had started. If you mean Crecraft senior then fully agree with your view of his business background.
Equally, I wouldn't say he was rich enough (even from an asset basis let alone cash) to be able to provide the financial support needed to run a SL club. |
