| I'd guess this is a case of us wanting to get his wages and quota place off the books to enable more movement in and someone has offered to take him off our hands rather than him wanting to leave. If he wanted out i doubt he would have playing the last couple of weeks. Problem is he's one of the few players we have with geniune quality, are we going to be able to find someone else to come in short term at this stage of the season who is of a similar level? I have my doubts.

| Heard it might well be the Tiggers that have signed him. Are these players all jumping ship since MC said anyone who didn't want to play for us could leave?

Does Sammutt take up a quota spot?

I imagine what it did was alert other clubs and players agents that our players may be fair game for an approach. Carter has knocked back an offer for McShane already and there may well have been others. I'm lead to believe Hall is on his way out though. But whether they knocked on his door or got tapped on the shoulder we'll never know for sure.

God - hope not Jinge. I know we have been after a centre but I thought we would be aiming a bit higher. If Tigers were to sign him I would support him though. He certainly won't get the free ride he as been doing at WTW under Powell.

Oh here we go - you're Cas not Wigan or Leeds and a fit Collis is more than good enough for you lot, cut the superiority stuff out, remember you only have a 50% record this season against the worst team SL has ever seen.

| Apparently Collis has been training today?
Along with Stuart Howarth...
The rumour mill is always strong at Wakefield.

FFS that's even worse news, Stuart Howarth is crap. We already have two good hookers and a load of back rowers.

Only in your opinion Vasty. Most of your own supporters slate him on here anyway making him (in there eyes) not good enough for WTW. How long ago it was is since he has been fully fit anyway ?
You keep hanging on to that memory of beating Tigers and HKR in February old lad. I'd rather remember out most recent game and look forward to the next match.

| If Collis has left I have mixed feelings about this. When match fit I thought he was superb. One of the highest quality players we've had in recent years.
This season hasn't shown much of that form. Plus he is often dogged by injury.
I suspect this will free up some cash and a quota spot. I can only guess these have been freed up since Smith has a replacement/s in mind. (I hope so).
I'm sorry to see Collis leave but understand potential reasons why. I'm looking forward to some positive team news soon.
However prior to that I'm looking forward to news that Brian has got his visa, has landed in the country and had his first press conference with us. I guess this maybe tomorrow or Friday?
