Although ignored by the RFL disciplinary, it looked at the time like a bad cannonball tackle on Tom by Luke Walsh coming in late and low with his shoulder whist Tom was help up by two players. This may be disproved on the match video; just how it looked on the day.

Gutted for the lad. there's no better sight in RL than seeing Tom in full flight, but he'll be back I have no doubt better than ever!

We're lucky we have depth in the the threequarters.

Great prospect who would have been on the fringes of the England World Cup squad in my opinion and takes the ball up like a second row forward. My lads favourite player.

Awful news for him but he's strong, fit lad with a good work ethic and if anyone can come back as strong it is him. In the meantime MCB is a very able deputy and we still have plenty of threequarter cover.
