Kirke and Moore only have a year or so left where as Kirmond and Aiton have years left on their clocks.



For that reason the money would have to be a good offer. And the players contracts. Would have to amount to no more than the two leaving.



I'd look for another deal though from Leeds and just for Aiton.

It would be nice to be given some chance to get what we want cash wise. That isn't a ridiculous offer and losing our best 2 players. Can't believe some of you think thats a good offer. Kirke and Moore is a insult Clarkson is ok.

We appear to have a swap deal all done and dusted on the basis of what someone has read on the Salford Board.



As was said on Monday, keep buying and renewing Memberships etc. and we may not need to sell anyone although I think we'll be looking to bring players in on loan deals.

If you mean that by selling our most valued players you need to sell less season tickets then you are correct. If you think you will sell 3000 then you are sadly mistaken. The product on the field sells season tickets and if the people think this is reduced they are less likely to buy and it becomes a spiral of reduced season ticket sales so offload more players. I would hope that an accountant would understand this and therefore I presume the rumour is just that with no foundation of truth.

If we'd won something, or got close to winning something, rather than overpay some average players, at least we'd have reaped something other than CCJs.
