It's his constant chatter to the ref that winds me up. I'm ok with captains questioning the odd decision but when a player takes it upon himself to try and influence the ref, it just takes the mick. Luke Robinson used to do the same. Last night Sinfield appeared to influence Silverwood to put the Burrow incident on report, even though it has now emerged it was a clash of heads with Kirmond.

Judging by the reaction of the South Stand, it's no longer permissable to tackle any Leeds player at Headingley; I'm not sure if their constant complaining is a symptom of the players on-field attitude, or the cause.



Bizarre comments from the terminally miserable Brian Mac after the game; some claptrap about lowest common denominator or somesuch.

As for Brian mac comments think he was spot on.

It's up to the refs to put him and those like him in their place. He'll try what he's allowed to try, but everything that goes beyond that could be stopped very easily, if the refs grew a pair.
