Some body has put a video on of the pitch and it doesn't look bad. On the other hand they have cancelled the pre match dancers because of standing water. We'll have to see.

Its a great idea in theory but you really are gambling on keeping most of your first 17 fit. The other way is to try and get players who can do a good job in several different positions rather than just filling in.

When CC says quality he means we have no 'wince' players. The quality of the players at Wakefield varies but I personally can't think of a player that makes me wince when I see his name on the team sheet which is a relatively new experience tbh.



Keegan Hirst for example is IMHO our least able prop, however I still think he does a decent job for us - ditto a few others - all are basically playable. Most pleasing of all is that youngsters like Batch and Crowther do not in any way weaken the team which again is a relatively new experience where young players are concerned.



So no it's not quality in the truest sense of the word but it close.

Having seen the team we have put out glad I decided to stay at home and save my dosh.

Weakened squad hopefully will give it a go not expecting anything.
