Whether we feel he deserves it or not if his contract stated he was entitled to a pay off then he should get his money. And given Elstons apparent history in giving out contracts then we probably owe him a fortune.

Did he not leave during the spell that MC was the part time accountant therefore he would be aware and it should not come as a shock.

Must say one thing. How much have we payed out to players we no longer want over the last two years. It must be a fortune. As a club we cannot do this on a regular basis.

I would guess that MC would be the first one to suggest that he should have got more involved at that time. I also suspect that this is part of the driving force behind his willingness to try and sort this out.



The timing is unfortunate, given that we are now trying to build again, but I'm sure it can be handled.



On the other hand I also think that agentXIII is entitled to ask his questions and some of us on here were guilty of not doing so under the previous regime and now also live in regret!

I have no doubt they were at fault, all I was pointing out was that MC was the accountant at the time so should have been aware. It should therefore not come as a surprise to him so let's not get too carried away with your glorification of MC.

What does concern me however, is he now being ignored by the club or is he referring to the previous incumbents.
