I thought I read somewhere that the prices had already been set ready for going on sale tomorrow.

Why do we need the fixture list? Is there a pre-set number of games on the plastic cards?

I guess we don’t currently know how the leagues will be formulated and by default the number of games we play. They may know how much they want to charge per game on a season ticket but currently they don’t know how many home games we have.

OK. I presumed that the cost mentioned was for the "ticket" rather than per game. Fair enough if that's the case.

The last 3 seasons that I've been following the championship and L1 the fixtures came out around 2 weeks after the SL fixtures, usually last week in November/first week in December.

Look like you could be right, tweet from Gledhill suggesting Newcastle have 2 weeks to decide one way or the other.



Newcastle Thunder have two weeks to save their short-term future and make plans for the 2024 League One season. I really hope the existing support base backs this new vision for the club. A lot of hard work has gone into giving #RugbyLeague a visible presence in the North East.

Whatever happens surely we're going to end up with roughly the same number of home games. Doesn"t really matter if people end up with 2,3 or 4 free games.

Surely that matters a lot. Its how they work out their price point.



Either way. You shouldn't sell tickets when you don't know what you are selling.

And the people buying don't know whether they can attend the games they want to without the fixtures.



The right thing is to wait.

There's the issue of the 1895 Cup to consider.



It's rumoured to be having more games/a round robin phase.



Those games need to be factored in, as it's well known that ST holders don't like buying "extra" cup tickets.



It doesn't kill us to wait a short time - all clubs in our division are in the same boat.
