| Surely an opportunity to raise our profile here? Not exploit the fans.

| It's a shared gate and as far as I can recall, the other team has a say in what the entry fee should be. Not 100% certain though, so I'm happy to be corrected. Seem to remember Castleford kicking up a fuss a few years ago that we were not charging enough.

| I do think charging more than what you would for a league game is taking a bit of a liberty.
£20 no matter whether you're an Adult, kid or OAP to sit in the stand is outrageous.
Will still be going though.

| For me & my son to attend & sit would = £40, a little bit different from the normal £22. Last season when I purchased a season ticket for the stand, on a number of occassions i was unable to take a seat due to the refurbishment works to the stand, (no big problem), I was unable to attend all home games due to holidays (no big problem) I am & have been a member of the squad builder since it's inception, I purchased a season ticket, that offered 13 games (10 league games, 2 NRC & 1 CC game, the CC cup never appeared (no big problem). I think £15 standing is possibly pitched about right, but I can not see a £5 transferto the 'alleged' stand (per adult) or £12 (per child) as appropriate.

| besides the charge into the stand, which I agree is silly for children, I think its due to the fact that the capacity for it is around 100-200 and therefore a seat is classed as a seat regardless of who sits in it - which as a mum of 3 boys I don't agree with, but understand the reasoning behind it. I think charging an extra £1 is no big deal. The club will need to employ over double the usual match day staff maybe even more, buy extra things for the game such as plastic glasses and an extra working till behind the downstairs bar - fingers crossed lol, hopefully a fully stocked bottled bar too, plus possibly have a police presence due to the size of the crowd. I can understand why they have increased the price, it really should not be a time for us to be having a go, at least we have met the criteria for the game to be given the go-ahead at cougars, otherwise we could of all be paying much more to go to warrington for the game.

| My main hope is that they sort the turnstiles!
On Sunday, everyone was going through the same turnstile so how could anyone reconcile the gate money?
They need to get it sorted before the game otherwise fiddling could be rife! Although, I must stress that it might not!
Whatever happens something needs to be sorted!

That's a fair argument.
With regards, stock, plastic glasses etc. Those will pay for themselves when they're sold, it could be argued with a higher profit margin than normal games due to economy of scale.
What slightly grates with me is it goes against what I perceived to be the ethos of our club. I always had us down as being seen by the club as family orientated, with supporters, not just a revenue stream to be exploited. I'm amazed there isn't a family ticket deal. Sure it's a great opportunity for the club to make some brass but I think there are better ways to make it Selling a decent quality one off programme for example.
For some people, OAPs who are too infirm to stand for 80 minutes spring to mind, the big price hike will really be a big deal and they may not be able to come to such a big game.

| £15 to stand is bearable. Though I think £20 to sit down is too much.
Also, I think when we go to Leigh, it will be £18.
So for a cup game v one of the top sides, £15 is quite fair.

| £15 - A fair price to watch the cougars vs Warrington, one of the best sides in the Super league, its £1 more than a normal championship 1 game. However £5 is alot of money to sit down in the stand. The stand If I remember rightly seats between 400 - 500 people but no doubt there will be alot of sponsors etc for this game who will require seating.
Myself Im gonna enjoy this game and see what progress we have made from our 80-0 loss to warrington last year and at the end of the day any extra money the club can make to progress further in the league has to be a good thing.

| How many people always say we need a new stand?
I believe £15 k was spent fixing up the present stand last season.
These are things fans want.
The people who benefit most from the stand being repaired will be the people who sit
in it. I don't think it is beyond reasonable to pass a portion of that cost on.
As for this_cougar_outfit quote "15 quid in?
Don't think so. Whoever decided this is thick as sh*t"
The only game I have found entry to for less than £15 is Broncos.
(Some have not published prices)
Considering the occasion, the extra things needed and the fact Cougars is a business
who should make hay when the sun shines, I can't believe you say that about £15 when it would cost £14 for any other League Game.
If we were away, could you have got there for a quid?
