i like the way RL gets blamed when only one match has been played on it (same with the KC the other week). Yet the pitches are worn down in the centre circle and the goalmouths

Saw it so well that he could say that Campbell passed it accidentally.

That really annoyed me yesterday when I heard them having a go at RL when Wigan's pitch has been bobbins for weeks now (and its actually 2 games at the Pie Dome now to be fair)...then I realised it was the complete and utter clowns on that Sky Sports Football thing moaning so it didn't bother me too much as they don't tend to have many brain cells between them on there.

TBF maybe the pitch is such a mess because it is used for 12 months. I'd like to see stadiums used by only one club (except the opposition, of course). I think it's scandalous that fans are paying high prices to watch matches on pitches that are in worse condition than those we played on at school - even after the joyriders had performed donuts when it was muddy.

A classic Anfield Eurpean night tonight?

Sounds like a non-starter to me. Sets a strange precedent for starters and even if allowed, it's merely papering over some of those really wide cracks in the short-term. It doesn't go anywhere near addressing the main issues that the club have.

Still, if they don't ask they certainly won't be allowed to.

Absolutely ridiculous and fuels my dislike of them even more...I for one am hoping they go bust, all the money they've had and they still havent been able to manage brings about absolutely zero sympathy from me. Any club that gets into the PL and then fritters it away through over-spending/over-reaching deserve nothing at all IMO...cue plenty of digs about Nited's debt and the likes no doubt! There's plenty of clubs who've got into the PL then gone down and not had major financial problems so it can't be too tricky can it???
