He scored 10 tries in 24 SL games last year.

What planks like you will never understand is that scoring lots of tries is not a measure of how good you are. Leeds Rhinos have scored shedloads of tries this year because we have try scorers in pretty much every position. The same people that criticise Ryan Hall come out with the drivel you do. Hall and Briscoe are like two extra forwards for us, taking immense pressure off our front row and gaining us masses of metres whenever we are under pressure. We don't rely on a handful of strike players to score all our points, we have weapons everywhere. And you hate it so much. It's brilliant.

PS Briscoe was class before he got injured and class since he came back. Not one of your backline would get in ours. And you hate that too.

I like Briscoe but no way I'd have him ahead of Burgess, don't think I'd prefer him to Manfredi either to be honest over the full season.
