| "Josh will miss Wakefield and to be honest is also a doubt for the Leeds game which is hugely disappointing. He is struggling to put his foot down today (Thursday), we will just have to wait and see."
Charnley has grabbed 25 tries in Wigan colours so far in 2012 and has taken over the goal kicking duties in the absence of Pat Richards, asked who could kick at Wakefield, Shaun added,
"Sam or Chris Tuson, if he's fit, Tuse can kick, he kicked for me when I was 18's Coach."

| What cant Chris Tuson do? Batter St Helens players, kick goals, apparently he can play at hooker too? (tongue in cheek, that last one).

| Wane has said after the game Charnley, McIlorum and Prescott are all in contention for the semi but Lima only has an outside chance of being back.
I'd settle for the first three tbh.

No notable injuries today I hope?
How did Hansen & Goulding go today? (don't need to ask about Sam obviously).

| No injuries today bar a cut to Hansens already battered face!
Hansen just slipped back in like he'd never been away taking in loads of strong carries and bashing people in defence. As for Goulding he looked a little off the pace first half but was sublime in the second setting up a couple of try's for Thornley including one that was from an unbelievable back handed offload.

Agreed. H is one of those players that you don't really realise how good he is until he's missing. Daz was his usual self, pretty much, though I do get the feeling he's struggling a bit with his leg, still. I'd like to see him given a couple of games off after the Leeds game (London & Cas) ; Thornley looks more than capable of filling in for him.

| We'll be able to rest a few after Leeds for sure and keep them fresh for the play offs and maybe a cup final. We just need a few lads to push themselves through next week and then were sitting pretty.
Via all these injuries one thing that had happened is our squads naturally become much bigger. We now have a real confidence that we can throw in Thornley or Murphy or Crosby or Lloyd or Hughes etc etc and they can do a real good job for us.
