I'd argue that it's essential you beat us when we next play - from a Wire perspective.



Wigan will be in the post-Wembley daze, whether they've won or lost.



If Wire fail to put Wigan away that day, especially with so much riding on it - i.e. top spot - then there will be questions asked about your team's abilty to handle tough opposition. Running in massive scores against the minnows will count for nothing.

You might hold onto that in hope.

Trying to suggest a defeat for us would effect the play-offs is just silly.

Like it or not, the Warrington renaissance has been tarnished by an inabilty to deliver at the business end of the season. That may have been down to the Wembley distraction - something which may also affect Wigan. But that's my point. If Wire start slipping up again as we approach the tough stuff, then it won't look good.



Whatever happens at Wembley, Wigan will not be as well prepared for their next league match as normal. It's a great opportunity for you lot to win. But if you don't, well ...

And if we win what effect would that have on Wigan...?



Mean if it doesn't look good for us how would it look for you? unable to beat a Wire side without 3 key players, being the Champion side you are it shouldn't be a problem

whoever wins and finishes top or 2nd will still have to win 3 on the bounce to lift the GF Trophy. And unless you win your last game of the season you win nothing.

Oh dear... The point is we are half expecting to lose... Its the week after a cup final, any team would be vulnerable, and any good coach can dress it up as such... You would have no excuse for losing.

That was my point, but I suspect he's deliberately missing it.
