I'm pretty sure we actually had first option to sign him when he came back to the UK.

As do Saints - Flannery/Wilkin/Soliola will be ahead, with Moore/TP (if not propping) in the mix too.

Agreed. If he was at Wigan now he wouldnt have a sniff of the first team. Even when he was here before he only played a handful of games at a time when we had a far worse team and had far less options than we have now.

Flanagan has done well at getting a contract at Saints considering there was talk of him joining Widnes. All the best to Mark even if he hasn't played that much this year in the NRL he would have developed into a handy player for Saints.
