He clearly sees that there are things about his 'persona' that aren't the best.
Like it or loathe it he could / should be the poster boy of RL in the future, he has everything and if promoted right he could help the game.
Or he could damage it.
He is in the spotlight because of his talents, that brings with it a certain level of responsibility. All he needs is a mentor of sorts (i.e. big lad who can smarten him up now and again)
Surely as wigan fans you'd be happier if no one could fins anything to criticise him for.
You'll know he's sorted himself out and become what (we all honestly hope) he can be, when we just start calling him ugly...

I agree with your post Smith does not come across too well but he obviously does the coaching well, you could say he is the opposite of Cullen who would use 10 words instead of 2 and the longer the words the better. |

He is a good coach and has a proven track record in Super Duper League but I think Wane deserves his chance at this point. |
