You wouldn't even need the big screen for non TV games, just a video ref with a link to the refs ear piece. It was trialled a couple of seasons ago, at Hull KR IIRC? It annoys me how the game is refereed differently between TV and non-TV games and also how it is refereed differently between SL and the NRL. The 2 refs system in Oz seems to be working very well now but we dont have nearly enough top class refs to have 2 at each game, plus a video ref at each as well. |

There's no momentum rule in rugby league either. Both Union and League follow the laws of physics though and don't judge forward passes in relation to the ground but exactly how that video states. |
