You get a better view of the City than you do the pitch. I thought for an hour that Michael Owen was upfront for Newcastle but turned out it was Michael Chopra.



There are 16 flights of stairs and then a steep climb to your seat from the concourse. Makes the top tier at Old Trafford look like the front row of The DW.

1st away miss of the season, not paying £18 for that view, I thought the North Stand was supposed to have been redeveloped by now, shame really enjoyed the day there 2yrs ago and it was hot !

Why's the golf stand not been re-errected at the other end yet like they said it would while they were building the new stand! Joke! Can you upgrade your ticket to the sides once you get in! Otherwise may as well just get completely hammered cos not going to see anything!

The problem is the view is very different at Hull KR compared to those as it doesn't have the banking and you are low down so don't get a decent view. Not my problem thankfully as at a family do in the Midlands anyway.

IIRC from standing on there fiddling with an erection once, you get a good view upto the opposite 40m line and then you struggle.

Anyone who went to Bloomfield Road circa 2002 will know how far their away end was from the pitch and you could just about see the other end. I'm sure if you search "Mike Flynn v Blackpool" on YT you'll find a video showing it, otherwise on this picture the big pole thing is round about where the fribt row was.

If you buy tickets from HKR you can print them at home or pick them up so no hassles. Their fans said plenty of Wakey fans stood in the Well where I've booked tickets for and I'd expect a good few Wigan fans to do the same.



It sounds like it's worth the extra £4.
