| I would be gutted if we got rid of Pryce but not because he has done great things in a Wigan shirt but the potential he posses is great. Maguire was the backs coach at Melbourne bringing Slater, Folou, Chambers and Inglis through so he is the man to make Pryce come good, keep the faith!
A full pre season under Wane, Maguire and Bitcon will show us what he is capable of, even if he shows glimpses in 2010 I would give him an extension because if Pryce went to another club I reckon it would come back to bite us on the harris unlike Mathers who I still reckon is bobbins.

| One of the main problems with Pryce IMO is that the one thing that might help him is to have a good run of 1st team games.
How he's going to get that?

By ripping into pre season, Maguire will have given them a fresh slate.

| Pryce's last game at the JJB for Bradford before he went to Union he was outstanding. He made two tries and scored two. He threatened our line almost every time he got the ball.
He's here for the season whether some like it or not and he's a Wigan player. So lets hope it comes good for the lad and for Wigan.
Also lets give him support when he pulls on the cherry and White shirt.
As has been said, if he fulfils his potential he could be a world beater, let's hope it turns out that way.

| Quote Rogues Gallery="Rogues Gallery"I've watched him from being 16 and he's murdered us (Wigan) at junior levels.
He went into the Bradford first team and did well.
What went wrong?
It's either fitness and confidence or "bottle".
One thing for sure as you said he (and we) will find out this coming season.
What would really have peed me off though was for Wigan to have released him at the end of 2009 and another club to have got him fit and confident and then see him come back and destroy us again.'"
I think the reason for his perceived "lack of bottle" stems purely from his injury. Being out for the length of time he has, with an injury to a part of the body that is pretty integral to living a normal life never mind playing rugby.
I think it is just a question of getting games under his belt and not having an aching foot playing at the back of his mind.
The lad will come good and I really think he will become a very good SL centre / wing.
However I don’t think this will happen whilst he is at Wigan. Certain sections of our crowd love nothing better than to bitch and moan about individuals in the team regardless of the possible reasons behind their performances.
I really hope he gets a good string of games under his belt and gains a bit of confidence from his performances. Like I said though it won’t happen here because as soon as he knocks a ball on he will get pure abuse form some fans.
I want a fit Karl Pryce playing for Wigan. I just can’t see it happening though. Shame really.

| I cannot believe what i am reading regards Pryce, every player should have a clean slate. It is obvious he needs to perform this season but it is the first time in 3 years he has had the correct preparation going into a season. To claim he has never caused Wigan any damage in his Bradford days is bizarre he smashed us on several occasions at the JJB and Odsal.
I personally think in the right hands Pryce has the potential to be world class, he has all the skills and physical attributes and now he has the preparation. I have never rated BN as a coach and i feel some of our more criticised player will really improve this year.
Personally I am happy to give everyone a chance and it seems the coaches are too.
I do not think any player can be written off.
Pryce has to be given a run in the centre when either Gleeson or Carmont pick up a knock, and he must be given a chance to prove the doubters wrong.

| From reading posts on here and talking to other Wigan fans, everyone (nearly) wants Karl to suceed in a Wigan shirt.
Just hopefully he can have a great start to this season.

Without doubt I want him to succeed and so should everybody else. Any team would want a guy of that size and ability in their side 'IF' he sorts himself out.
I'd love to see him come really good this year and find some confidence and abit of an edge but he just seems so laid back.
It's a long shot but i'd be made up if we're all singing his praises in a few months time begging the club to sign him up to a new deal.

| Pryce looked knackered on that video
At least he's still there so he must be prepared to work.
Hopefully Maguire gives him a bit more confidence so we've got a top class centre on our hands.

So was Kevin Iro, but we managed to get some great performances from him.

Yeah laid back but he had a nasty edge to him. He had an aura about him which Pryce doesn't currently have.
I'd love to see Pryce play that well he takes the 'Beast' nickname on
