I watched the two minute highlights about 9.0pm and the incident wasn't shown, is it on another clip or has it been removed for whatever reason.

At the start of the clip it shows Wigan running the ball (then losing it),the screen then flashes for a couple of seconds and then just shows Green lying flat out. Cheers.

It's literally the first thing shown. Keep your eyes on Green from when he gets the pass from McIlorum.

I was following the ball and even though I watched it countless times I never saw it until you pointed it out to me.

Exaggerating to prove a point. It's very easy to pick "players" who could beat 99.99% of RL players into next week.



Wouldn't make for entertainment though. The reason rules are there is to ensure that the game does not degenerate into this.

Awful tackle. Not even a little bit surprised the officials missed it though, they're consistent in that regard.

I missed it at first but having watched it back several times now their player ought to be facing a lengthy ban. Clearly lifts his shoulder and arm into the tackle and made no attempt to pull out once the ball had gone as that was his intention all along. He'd basically lined him up.

The fact that so many people missed it shows how late the challenge on Green was! TBH I am always more concerned about incidents like this happening when a game is not televised as there is a lot more leeway for injustices being perpetrated, of whatever nature.

At least all future CC games this season will be televised, so there is less chance of this not being picked up by the officials.

I think people are saying they missed it because the 2 min highlights on Wigan TV give it the briefest of time you possibly could right at the start in order to fit all the tries in!



When you know its there and look for it there is no mistake about what went on.

No problem, guess the refs did the same - easily done.

I dont think its that late and should have been seen, the balls gone but not by much, its the swinging arm thats the issue and the intent.
