| Quote Rogues Gallery="Rogues Gallery"Dave, you've posted some cr@p in your time, but to suggest that Pryce was outplayed by a player on the opposite side of the field is taking to to extremes. Surely he outplayed Richards his opposite number.'"
You know exactly what I meant and so does everybody else. Their big right wing was better than our big right wing. He made breaks against a better player than Pryce faced on his side of the pitch at looked 10 times more threatening. I draw your attention to him because he is of similar build to Pryce but far more mobile and threatening.
Quote Rogues GalleryDo you think that Pryce outplayed his winger Hodgson?'"
No. Do you?

| I wouldn't be too disappointed if we were to let Pryce go. I'd say he's been fairly solid, but we have better players in his position.

| I dont think Pryce is a rugby player. He is simply a big lad with bags of unfufilled potential
Sadly i dont think he will ever reach his potential, thats why i think we should let him go

| Josh Charnley played very good yesterday a Salford he scored a try and took Salford on at speed and his defence excellent.
Why was Marsh or Pryce picked instead of Charnley i dont no seeing Charnley has played 5 Super League games and has scored in 3 of the games ????

Hodgson the best finisher in the game?
The cover tackles Pryce had to make were because he was caught out of position. He shouldn't have had to make them in the first place and it put unnecessary pressure on the side & gave Huddersfield great field position.

| Quote lilylaner="lilylaner"Just one question -why is Charnley still at at HKR when we were so woefully weak in the centre positions yesterday?'"
Not a clue. I vociferously supported bringing Josh Charnley back into the side. He would have played at centre for me instead of Marsh (not hindsight I said this before a ball had been kicked).
Next week Josh Charnley plays for me. If Goulding is back he comes back in place of Pryce and Charnley plays instead of Marsh. If Goulding is still injured then I would bring Josh Charnley on the wing.

| I've just watched the game again.
The ONLY pass Pryce got on when he was in the wing position was that shocker when he kicked the ball.
He actually saved three tries.
Now I've never said he is the best winger at Wigan but some of the criticism he has got from Sundays game beggars belief.

The biggest criticism from me would be that he never gets into acting half to give the forwards a break when coming off your own line.
Surely its time to put the "long-term" project to bed and move on - waste of a fair chunk of salary cap.

Watch the game again, he actually takes it in as many times if not more than Pat Richards in that game, and that's another reason I don't understand Sundays criticism.
I am led to believe he is not on big money at Wigan, but has been offered a two year deal at Bradford.
I guess it's a case of wait and see.

| Just to play devil's advocate I noticed a piece of play that warrants criticism of Pryce when I watched it again.
Watch the build up to Luke Robinson's try. Pryce initially tracks back but watch his movement/attitude when a Huddersfield pass goes to ground. He continues to slow down moving past the Wigan try line with his back to the play obviously believing the danger had gone thus finding himself well out of position (too deep and too central) to defend Robinson's later run.
A more focused player may well have prevented that try.

He chased the ball from Hodgsons inside kick. Maybe if he hadn't been so enthusiastic and stayed on his wing he would have been in position to make the tackle.
BTW he did get back and make the tackle on Robinson but was a fraction late.
And then you can argue that Richards made the wrong decision for Cudjoes first try, and certainly Deacon did for the last one.
