| I'm not sure that the first one is a knock on, but I have seen similar given as a knock on many many times.
As for the obstruction before the drop goal, how that wasn't given as an obstruction is beyond me.

| We had an obstruction given against us for far less during the game.
The first try is a knock on without question. He trys to drag the ball in to him a few times facing his own line so no doubt in my mind.
The worst of the lot though was the last try though. It won't show up on any highlights but he dropped it short of the line. I was sat dead inline with it and probably had the best few in the house of it bar the milky bar kid (the ingoal judge who was about 12) and he nailed on lost it.
Said previously though swings and roundabouts and we'll get those back later in the year and hopefully against teams around us in the league.

| Widnes had a penalty advantage anyway when the drop goal was struck

Did they really? If they did it seems strange that the referee wouldnt have given the penalty, and an easy 2 points, as opposed to 1 for a drop goal.

| Logan Tomkins and Mellor need to bulk up considerably before they play SL regularly. When he was warming up at the Catalans game my mate asked me if Joe Mellor was on work experience.

agree with that.
i only saw 1 try...and the Widnes player strolled through logan like he wasnt there..and logan sort of waved his arms about.
i can only guess at the other Widnes tries......but it seems reasonable to assume micky mac was on the sidelines when some were scored?

| All that video highlights is how shocking our defence was. Going high, flapping around the chest, not sliding, not coming up in a line... Very poor, lack of onfield leadership which isnt a suprise given the situation.

When Sam first broke in to the team I remember being quite surprised that he was always quoted around the 13 stone mark. If Mellor's stats are to be believed then he is under 12 stone which is far too light for a SL stand-off.

| after watching the highlights it was more a poor performance by the team rather than the young lads
1st try Widnes score was poor defence from Finch and Charnley both shirt grabbing
2nd try - Hughes got caught in a poor defensive positing and was stood to squaer on
3rd try - Good ball, good line, good try
4th try - Poor goal line defence, never got set and could of got a bus through the gap
5th try - Was either an amazing pass or a very lucky one but we seemed way to condensed on the goal line they had a 2 man overlap
6th try - Really bad defence close to our goal line something we normally pride ourselves on and was Hansen who is one of our better defenders
After watching the highlight and without the emotion of being there i have actually changed my view that it wasnt the "kids" that lost us that game i think it was more attitude and effort. Going 18-0 up in the second half probably did more bad than good as we thought the game was over and to the credit of Widnes all through the game they just kept completing sets getting to kicks and defending well.
