Every club has a small minority of idiots but to even raise the idea of labelling the whole fan base as thugs is daft!

Turn the table and lets say wigan won it in the last minute at the saints end and a wigan player goaded the fans.... I'm pretty sure the outcome would be the same. every club has idiots like this and i hope the people responsible are caught and made an example of. I'm in no way condoning it, but if you goad fans like that then something is bound to happen.

I think the 'irony' stems from everyone ignoring everything Wire do on the pitch to tell us how bad our fans are, 95% of the time Wiganers yet professing how angelic and blameless they are in every other instance.
I'm not here to laud it up, most Wigan fans are good people just like most Wire fans are good people just like most rugby fans are good people.
Find them, ban them, don't label the club because a few wannabe thugs can't control their tempers and stop with all the petty name calling. Banter is banter and as long as it's good natured it's great fun but people are starting to take things a little bit too seriously. |

I'm pretty sure it wouldn't - I don't remember it happening at KR but you don't have to think back too far for an example of Wigan fans throwing objects at players . . . . |
