He's not the only former Wigan player in Super League OOC this year who says he would like a return to play for his home town club.

In all honestly it would of been great to sign him when he went OOC at Hull.



Seriously agreeing with GingerWiganer he clearly wants to come back, why else would he say that.



IL is stupid if he does not enquire about this ASAP.



We need stability and Briscoe would bring just that, he could play in an important position for 7 years and we also have the 6 or 7 spot covered by Sam for just as long or longer, and the backrow just keeps coming through we are fine there for the next 10 years other than maybe one signing. If we signed Briscoe we would have a core of a good team which is just what we need.

I thought he was a great player in his days at Wigan and it's shame he really did have to go being behind Radderz. I am sure Radderz would like him back at Wigan thats for sure.

But we don't want or need Paul Johnson.

Correct too injury prone and with the likes of Flannagan, Farrell, Mossop knocking on the door theirs no need to bring him in.

Didn't Johnson leave for a fresh start anyway after the tragic death of his brother?

I would be so annoyed if we signed Johnson. He might even come in and make an impact but he is injury prone and pretty old and would only be a quick fix even if it did work (which I don't think it would). He would only hinder the development of those already mentioned.

I will be seriously ed off if we sign him. I would go as far as saying he is the last player that we need, we are overloaded with players similar.

The only way I can see us wanting to sign him is if we are going to play him in the centre?.

We have Thornley in the reserves we do not need another person getting in his way. Goulding will also be back next year and hopefull alot better.

I always get the impression Kevin Brown keeps hinting about it.

I'd rather eat my own leg off than have Brown back.

give him 2 years under nathan brown and then maybe we'll miss having here but i doubt it
