As per Shaun Wane, Green took a nasty late hit and has damaged his ankle on the way down:
Quote It was shocking, he is in a bad way. he was unconcious and he also damaged his ankle on the way down, we will scan it tomorrow and we will have more idea at the end of the week. I can't say what I want to say, I would just rather move on.Asked about Blake Green who was forced to leave the field early on through injury with what looked a late challenge on the Stand Off, Shaun added,

Fooking great. Twice in as many week's our halfbacks have been hit hard and late....no doubt the 'witless' RFL will do naff all about it again.  |

Listend to bits of it on local radio and the totally biased commentators missed it...just said he was down and its gone on report...amazed it was Patterson as he usually gets hidden.Hope Green is ok.

Because it was an off the ball hit. The referee follows the ball, not the player whos just passed it. |
