I would love to see Briscoe back in a Wigan shirt. A great fullback - more interestingly it was Mike Gregory that coached him to make the switch to fullback. I think he could do a better job than Phelps.



Would you take him back?

Yes if it was right for the team. With Hock gone, Smith almost 99% certain to leave along with him and Bailey looking at other clubs we need a new HB and a prop but not just any HB or prop they have to be real quality ones.



If signing Briscoe meant we couldn’t sign fill either one of those positions then it’s a no from me.



When does his contract run out btw? Maybe an option for 2011 as Phelps deserves another year deal

I would hope by 2011 we may have had a good chance to see what Veivers can do, and we may not then need Briscoe. That's not to say I wouldn't have Briscoe back in a flash, but things move on.

Sign him up ASAP.



There is nothing better than having a GOOD player who WANTS to play for his HOMETOWN club.

I like Phelps at fullback. But i would defo have Briscoe over him.

To me Briscoe has just said the biggest ''come and get me'' shout I have seen in allong time.



It sounds like he really does want to come back to us and if I was lenegan I would be on the phone right now negotiating a deal for him to get him into the Wigan shirt once again.
