| Just want to know what people think at about the salford game being possibly being moved to another ground. I work at the stadium and was speaking to some of the stewards at the weekend and they have been told that the Salford game is almost certainly going to be moved with Widnes being the most likely venue.
I know that its always been a sore subject with us playing a game the day before the latics, but if this turns out to be true why should season ticket holders be forced to travel to another ground after paying out to see there club play the matches at the DW.
Im sure that not every season ticket holder has their own transport and may walk or get a lift to the stadium so how would these season ticket holders make there way to Widnes?
Even if the club provides transport this is not acceptable as people pay to see our club play our home games at home not travel to neutral venues.

| As stated in another topic its time the club started talking to the fans and letting them know what the situation is . Even if there has been no resolution to a particular problem at least give up updates along the way to keep local and far travelling fans up to speed .
The Salford and HKR (Easter Monday) games are two prime examples of lack of communication. Especially the Easter Monday situation where anyone with a pair of eyes and a pair of fixture cards knows there is a problem and has done since the Superleague 2016 fixtures were published .

| If it needs moving, why not switch the game to Salford and play the return fixture at the DW on 3 June. The pitch has been re-laid, so that negates the need for a 6-7 week gap in May & June.
If that isn't acceptable, why don't Latics play Sunday afternoon - its only Bury and its not like they have a global worldwide appeal that dictates they must kick off at 3pm on Saturday for overseas TV purposes any more. The only downside I see of them playing Sunday is the 15,000 "fans" who used to go wont get to see the goals on the 20 second highlights on Ch5 on Sat night!

I'd rather them just tell us when they have come up with the solution to be honest. Having said that, it would be farcical if they do move the Salford game so close to the day. Surely they knew that the pitch would be in a state because it is every year, and that Wigan Pathetic would have some games that were particularly important to them at that time.

| It's ridiculous. I'm not going to Widnes, I want a refund of what my ticket is worth like they do when Sky move a game.
And I echo the thoughts about the transparency from the club.

No feasible
The pitch still needs a lot of work doing on it and IF Latics are in the play offs they could be playing at home until around 20th May depending on where they finish.

| Sale are also at home that weekend so I'd imagine the stadium owners would have opposed it anyway, especially at this short notice.

It's all about the money. Even with that shower in the lower leagues, they're still probably bringing in more than we do with a full house. One of the only ways to get our ire noticed would be to concertedly spam Lenagan and/or the main sponsors (especially the local ones) until they get so p'd off they'd have to do something - if only offer proper refunds & not just a tenner off next season's pass.
Just for the record - Sale Sharks got hold of my address from somewhere a while ago & wouldn't/couldn't remove me from their mailing so I forwarded everything I got to their chairman, FO, all the coaches I could find & everyone associated with anything insisting they get their IT in order & stop spamming me. The IT manager subsequently got so much grief she was begging me to stop. I did when they did.
Sometimes being a bit shouty and a PITA does work.
