Should Wigan/Hull/RFL fly Brett Kenny and Peter Sterling back for the CC Final? It would be a great gesture and would help for a BIG build up.

Absolutely, from a personal point of view the '85 final was my first experience of Wembley and made a huge impression on me as a 14 year old. I still vividly remember everything about the day - the occasion, atmosphere, sunshine and of course the stunning tries and thrilling finish.



I think the RFL will be missing a trick if they don't use the memory of the greatest ever final to build up this one, and flying in those two legends would be an excellent idea.

Would have thought Sterling would have too many media commitments in Oz that he'd be contracted to to be able to tbh.

Had another look at the match a few weeks ago (it gets better the more you watch it,even though we lost) and what amazes me,is the speed of the game,it is comparable or faster than todays matches,28 years later,amazing match.

A few years ago Kenny seemed to be down on his luck and was considering completely leaving the game.

Even better to have a legends game prior to the final with both players playing!

Would love the Beeb to show the 85 final in full, the night before the final, BBC 4 would do! Just to get fans in the mood.
