| what so you lot think of gleeson?
as all probably know that we were more than happy to get rid of him at warrington.
i thought he offered nothing whatsoever to your attack today (or your defense)

| Didn't offer much, but didn't make mistakes unlike Mathers. I know which I'd rather have.

| He had a bad game but he is one of the best defensive centres in the league.
His time will come when we get a decent pack and our half backs can play the game properly and get the ball out to him.

would you care to expand on that?
i thought the general opinion amongst you was that your halfbacks are fantastic

Leuluai is a hooker IMO. Tomkins is a fantastic young player making the most of the space he gets. Sam Tomkins would be great wire wire playing behind that pack.

| I'm very happy with him.
It's been a while since we've had a genuine right centre and his defence is spot on
I don't think he's built up a partnership with his winger yet which doesn't help his attack
He may have been a little quiet today but that's down to having to fill in for Bailey when he went off and being out coached

| He's been good for Wigan.
Did nothing today as like all the backs and halves were behind a pack that were over run.

| Was he even playing today? I saw his name on the team sheet and thats about it. King totally outplayed him and scored a hat trick and that says it all. I actually thought Gleeson would be getting slaughtered on here and not Roberts but he doesnt seem to be. It is like Wigan fans are still in denial about him. Why do you think Warrinton wanted rid, just ask any Warrington fans about how poor/ average he is on a week to week basis, never mind his attitude. He is a player on the decline and has lost his speed and some of his footwork and finds touch as often as he does his winger. He goes missing for entire matches and his defence is also poor at times. He isnt even as good as Carmont. £100,000 + Mathers, what a rip off
It is just like Fielden all over again. Wigan sign an overated, overhyped and over the hill player. You would have been better signing 2 good props instead.

i totally agree.
i expected him to be getting pelters on this forum.... but it doesnt apper to be the case.
i think his best days are well behind him.. he was poor for us.. a lazy centre who often goes missing when the chips are down.
(mathers is worse comment goes here)

| I would still welcome Gleeson into the Warrington team. If we sign Ryan Atkins to replace Gleeson then I'm not sure how much of an improvement that is.

| Put Gidley in that wigan team. Would he look as good as he does at Saints? When you have no structure to your attack like wigan, its difficult to get him into a position where he can weave his magic. More often than not, Saints will put gidley into a position where he is attacking the defense on a good line or angle, with the defense scrambling.. From what ive seen, Gleeson is getting the ball stood square against his defender.

| maybe that was the reason Gleeson was in the Super League dream team when he was at Warrington, it was the players around him made him look good?
