Anyone else getting a bit bored of it?



Why is it the only song played when we score in finals/neutral venue games?

The only song gripe I had from Saturday was the lack of Simply the best at the end.



Shocking stuff.

We were saying the same, very disappointed I didn't hear it!

Got bored of it 3 years ago. especially when the band are a bunch of monkeys from the east of Glasgow...

Was played at the homecoming.

To be honest I much preferred Rockin' all over the world.

Yep, how many years has it been going now?









Took us f*cking ages last time to get rid of "Hey Baby" and Manfred Mann's "Doo Wah Diddy"

Aye heard it at the homecoming but it was too late for me.



The weekend was already ruined

I may have mentioned this several times... but get rid of all music then we can sing what we like! With the exception of the entrance music, which still sends shivers. I'm going to keep banging on about this I think!

I was surprised Simply The Best didn't get played at the end as thats the song I always associated with Wigan after the Challenge Cup wins of the past.



In fact I'm sure one of the Warrington wins they played Simply the Best at some point, while the team were walking around the field with the trophy.

ive got 2 kids, a 4 year old and a 2 year old and when i get in my car and my 4 year old asks me to play the wigan song (chelsea dagger) their little faces light up. this makes me so proud that they both remember this song from when they come to the games. nothing compares to that. at the end of the day the music and entertainment is more to keep the youngsters happy. and with the way everyone was, and always do, jump around to this song i would say its a big hit. if keeping this song on keeps a smile on my, and other kids faces does it really matter to you that much? for crying out loud its only a song to have a laugh to. have we really nothing else to bitch about. (come to think about it... champions2010, league leaders again so far, challenge cup winners2011...) no we really dont have anything else to bitch about do we. damn!! hope you get my point tho. as you can probably see i only post on here when i have something poignant to say.
