None - there are TWO byes for each club representing the 'missing' home and away fixtures,. In a thirteeen team competition each club plays 24 games with 2 weekends off, with an extra round for the Magic weekend with (as I suggested earlier) the Northern Rail Cup winners coming in to make up the numbers. Then in 2015 we revert to an even number of clubs, perhaps, maybe, who knows (certainly not the RFL!).

Big Nick is so determined to push through change, I'm one like many who believes is there is going to be relegation, there should be a play off between to the teams being promoted and those relegated to see who stays in Super League One.



As far as David Hughes is concerned, I'm sure he is ready to get out himself, but Who? is out there who wants a real challenge to turn a club around in a season, bring in a new CEO and a new coach, to ensure we stay in Super League One and have a ground suitable to stay there long term and at last break through, and show those continuous doubters wrong, that we do bring something to Rugby League, that we are now developing our own players, but most clubs in the North have to bring in some non local players to bring them success.

Ah, with you now. Good point - of course we could always get rid of the fatuous Magic weekend, but that's another topic.

For Super League to be taken seriously by the media and major sponsors we don't need just need just one club in London we need at least half the competition outside of the dreary M62 corridor which was the concept of SL when it was introduced in the 1990's
