| If you think scooting is give the forwards a rest, there's no reason for Pryce not to. Even if he doesn't get past the markers he should be able to get a quick play the ball, giving the next guy a better chance of making a break or at least getting a roll on. He doesn't even try, which is the point.

| now u know why we have loaned him to u he seems disinterested throughout the whole game and struggles to have any impact. i think if u dont keep him he will be in the championship next season because we have cover in his position and have some good young lads such as ryan king in our reserves

| I've said on a number of occasions that Karl Pryce is to Rugby League as what Audley Harrison is to Heavyweight Boxing.
Absolutely looks the part leaving the tunnel but has a heart the size of a pea.
Puts in a decent performance generally once every 3-4 matches unfortunately.

| Funny old thing I know exactly why and when you would generally use a scoot, and yep mostly its a tool for a small agile half back, but once or twice at least a player like him should be coming in field looking for it, watch Howell and of they both put in the effort, even if its first receiver he would have to come in field looking for work
As for bashing the bloke li would love him to come good, missed tackle count so low coz if he does not commit to tackles then he can't miss em
We keen enough to knock clubb

63 Tackles
When you compare that to Clubby's 203 tackles made and 18 missed, it don't sound too impressive.
I'm not saying Pryce is the perfect player. I just think he is getting too much stick at the minute.
Watch him score a hat-trick tomorrow

| Quote poplar panther="poplar panther"The problem with Karl Pryce seems to be in his head. He has the physique but does not seem to want the ball or batter the opponent. He is not a good example to youngsters wanting learn. He must frustrate the manager, he does me.'"
sounds like David Mills who we signed from you guys the other year, a big fearsome looking prop but a real gentle giant who COULDNT hurt a fly. Pryce should be throwing himself into tackles with his size,
hopefully lazy uninterested Pryce will turn up today

| gooner yep went and had a look at that and more tackles made than I thought
Back to what i said at the start of the thread and whats coming out as general feeling on here, he does not look like he wants to get involved, he never gets involved in multi man tackles that he close to, he seldom goes looking for the ball up the middle of the park, and never seems to take the ball at pace! On tyhe other side, 10 mtrs from the line I would always bet on him to score, sadly we dont play all the game 10 mtrs from the line
I would love him to prove us wrong and start working TR has it right he should be hitting blokes in the tackle and takign the ball at pace

| People have been saying these things about Pryce since he was a kid in the Bradford academy.
Fact is he's just not that ar5ed about being a rugby player. He's a nice lad but hasn't got the hunger to really make the most of his talent. I think his brother got all the aggression and will to win. Someone who knows him far better than me said he'd be just as happy being a bin man as playing rugby.

| TBH Pryce's try against the Dragons on Good Friday was the only moment of the match that had me out of my seat. He doesn't do much but when he does, he REALLY does.

Gale's try from Clubby's break was an 'Out of your seat' moment

Not for me. I believe I was being moody at the time.
