Given the ferocity with which he attacks league, I would imagine he actually likes bits of the game but is too afraid to admit it to himself.
Bizarre that you can get away with printing stuff like that, do the ptb even read what their employees have written before okaying it for print. At least our rugby union people are snydy and back-handed in their compliments before laying into our game.
