| You know I really did want to give the bloke a chance but after today am losing patience with him
Ok he scored a try, and give him the ball 10 mtr or even 15 mtrs from the line i would always bet on him to score
BUT he gives out an air of total disinterest, does not look like he wants to get involved, andf his tackle stats must be amazing, i might be wrong but in the second half he actually made 1 tackle!!!!! A bloke his size should be making a couple of big massive hits on his op number hurting em and that way they come in to the tackle worrying about it. Strewth he should have battered Menzies and Blanch
His stats must show no missed tackles coz he just never makes any.
He ambles around the park and makes no effort to help out in the hard work areas giving the fwds a break and time to set for the next move.

| Micky, I have to agree with you. The irony of it is, just before he scored the try, I commented to the two people sat either side of me "Look at Karl Pryce's body language, it's shocking"
Given his poor form with Wigan, you'd think that he is in his Super League last chance saloon with us. And, to be honest, he's not pulling up any trees for us.

| And yet when he eventually came off the bench last week he seemed to make a difference! Don't know what to make of him really, can be great one minute and not seem to give a monkey's the next!

| Lazy, that's what i'd call him, not sure what else to call him, maybe a bit dim?
He ambles around the pitch, doesn't do anything, rarely will help the forwards out, won't take the ball up much, he just watchs the ball without doing much. Not sure what to say about him really, I said to the person sitting next to me, 'one day Pryce will think to himself, this is my last chance' and he'll improve. But till that day, he won't do much. Credit to him, he got his try, with his what, 4th go with the ball, if that? in 20 + minutes, lazy. Look at Jamie, he'll constantly go into the field looking for the ball to help the forwards out, and he'll often make more metres then the forwards, Pryce is bigger than some of our forwards, but he's lazy and unless he improves, couldn't really care if he was with us or not tbf.

| Tim, sums it up really, wingers and centres at times need to go in field to make some speedy mtrs from the scoot, never seen him do that once where yep you are right Jamie and Howell do that
Where was the loan signing today? whats the point in signing a loan player and then not using him

| The problem with Karl Pryce seems to be in his head. He has the physique but does not seem to want the ball or batter the opponent. He is not a good example to youngsters wanting learn. He must frustrate the manager, he does me.

| Made signs that he was injured with the hands on head before he gave up and went off injured a number of minutes later. Karl Pryce is a real diamond in the rough who sparkles every so often, but can easily look like a worthless stone or 18 and a half. His problem is mentality and there is a reason why he is at one of the weaker super league clubs. Hopefully for mutual benefit we can get more out of him on a consistent basis, in both attack and defence.

| I agree with everything that's been said about his body language. Even in the bar after the game today he looked like he didn't really want to be there. In the tackle when he comes in 2nd/3rd to assist he puts no real effort into it, a few today it was just a token hand on the opponent while everybody else did the wrestling.
If he does come good for us I think he'll be awesome. He needs to buck his ideas up and quick.
Don't know how "injured" he was but seemed to be carrying an ankle knock - bang goes my theory of his suffering from vertigo / altitude sickness and forgetting his tablets !!

Pryce is hardly going to scoot given his size-he should help out with big drives from the PTB. Powell isnt really using scoots this year unlike Mac who used it as his only tool!
Powell seems to want players to work there way into the team. Latus, Calderwood for example and now the Wire player. Who should he have replaced, Burnett or Bailey?
Pryce has the heart of a door mouse

| Just watched his 'defence' for the first Stacul try again on SLTV and it as farcical as it seemed at the time - laughter seemed the only response. Running parallel to the attacker(s) all the way down the field and making sure there is always a gap of about 6 foot can't be easy to achieve! Synchronised rugby?

| Just watched the SLTV thing myself, maybe we could enter a team in the olympics, syncronised rugby league.
A couple of things annoyed me watching that, apart from the butter knife defence
Why with the breakaway try did Dave Howell just stand there and watch the bloke stop in the "in goal" area and pause without grounding the ball, if he is messing about then hit him, look at Blanch, still made the tackle as we were grounding the ball, it may still force an error.
I hace seen a bloke stood in the in goal get picked up and taken over the dead ball line, if yr within touching distance hit the bloke and force him to ground the ball
Why would pryce not scoot? he is a bloody centre, are you saying its a bit far for him to bend down and collect the ball at the play the ball, he is meant to have pace, when you are under pressure in yr red zone, him going in taking a scoot or first reciever and hitting the defensive line is the sort of thing that lifts a team
