I once had "words" with him in the club house at London Welsh. I will be looking out for him in Wellington this weekend to see if he would like to continue the "conversation".

He has no respect from current or former players, who regard him as a joke. He has no respect from fellow journalists. He is the but of many jokes from the moden day supporters of RU.

The question is why over the years have his bosses let him continue his attacks on Rugby League, a sport he obvisously knows nothing about? I'm not even sure he knows anything about RU to be honest.

He can't even be classed as a has been. He's a never was, and never will be.

His article's carry no weight in RU circles. He's a attention seeker, nothing more, nothing less and has the brain of a Buffalo. Perhaps in future we should just refer to him as Buffalo Brain Jones.

I'd really rather we didn't talk about the man - we shouldn't be giving him the oxygen of publicity.

It shocks me The Times continue to let him bleat on about RL like this.



If we are such an unimportant sport why do we irk him so much? I'd love to see him try the game, he avoids contact enough in Union as it is!

He usually only gets this bad when he's angry with League about something. Would imagine this might be because he's in NZ covering the World Cup of that country's national sport and last weekend they were probably more pre-occupied with the Warriors in the NRL final. Diddums.

I'd love to push him off the top tier at Twickers.

He's a troll, he gets paid to be a troll by The Times, but he's not a serious RU journalist never mind a RL journalist. This is the sort of copy that gets rehashed when there's nothing better to put in, which says it all about the damb squib that is the current RU world cup.

The kiwis have got him sussed and have him as public enemy 1/2/3 or something, in truth he is a one trick pony and he generates a bit of noise that the Times cleasrly thinks of value..............
