| Without Danny Orr in the second half we didn't have a clue, no direction, no nothing. Luke Gale can't be expected to steer the team around yet. Very worrying if Danny's neck proves to be a lomg term problem

| It would seem so. Without Danny we will drift this season, let's hope he gets well soon (and Hecks). To think we could have had Rinaldi as back-up!
We were Orr-less and Rudderless in the second half. Though I thought Temata played well, as did Sharpy, BTW are we trying a) to wear him out or b)to turn him into a forward? To much one-up stuff and then forcing silly passes where nothing is on. We were caught in possession three times on the sixth. If we want to know how to play in tight games see HKR in the second half. Brilliant kicking and support play. Gafa is not fit and Clubb should be brought back pdq.

| The second half reminded me of the Dragons game.
The attack lacked any impetuous, direction or structure. Its no wonder we didn't score any points.
The first forty was a real good contest and I thought we acquitted ourselves well. We probably could have put a few more points on though.
The alarming difference with and without Orr is surely something that won't have gone un-noticed by our rivals.
One the positive side, we've managed to retain 7th position in the table, with a game in hand over all bar the bottom two sides.

| Yes.
Gale isn't ready, not surprisingly. Dorn demonstrated what he does and doesn't do well, and playmaking isn't one of his "do well"s. So, no effective halves. Randall seemed to be off for much of the second half too. And it's time for Robinson and Williamson to start showing up.
Let's hope it was just an Easter backlash (Morgan would say so if it happened to HKR), after all it's only Leeds next.

| Maybe its time we gave Kaye his chance as backup to Randall. Don't know if he can cover half back but we are being told the 7s and 9s are interchangeable in the modern game. Gale still has a lot to learn and seems to be nervous. If Orr cant play against Leeds give him a go. If we cant put in a performance against HKR we aint gonna trouble Leeds so this is an ideal time for him.

| Couldn't understand why Williamson played dummy half for a fair while - even Louie got involved at one stage at the play the ball. Seems the organisation was not there either when we had the ball. Hull KR played well but we let them - in contrast with Catalan who I thought were very impressive dictating play. Today if it hadn't been for Howell's run I couldn't see us getting into Hulls half.
Anyone know how the reserves got on?

I arrived just as the final whistle blew. Scoreboard was showing a win to HKR, I think it was 10-24.

| We had one look at their line in the second half with 10 plays(due to a HKR touch) and we were clueless. Randall was off as was Orr, and we just didn't seem to have a plan. We must be the only club in the league playing with one hooker- Cunningham/Roby, Clarke/Higham, Baderus/Diskin, it goes on. If Randall isnt an 80 min player then we have to have an altrenative option.
Why did Purham not put his hand up and move into a play makers role when Orr went off? He's played 6 for England in the past.
The second half was absolute rubbish. Credit to HKR they played well but they're certainly not a top side.
In summary the past month has shown us up for what we are which is an 8-12 team. Hudds twice, HKR, Catalans(teams that are 4-8 on current form) have beat us easily.
Wire, Celtic, Reds - bottom 4 on current form we have beaten easily.
Sometimes we set our expectation higher and get disappointed by some of these defeats but the reality is there in front of our eyes

| Why was haggers not playing, he gives 100% every time he gets on the pitch. Was he at the game? Didn't see him or Jon Wells in the bar after the game.

| Both in the reserves.
I said before the game I was surprised we had not freshened up the team after the Easter weekend where we have used pretty much the same 17. Im not sure if the second half performance was due to fatigue.
Mac stated he had confidence in the squad. If his view remains use them.

| Did not attend my self as I live the wrong side of the M62, but lets hope things do get freshened up for Friday at Leeds or we will be completely mullered. Still I like going to Headingley as the fans are a good laugh and its near enough for some-one else to drive and I can have a beer or two

| No I dont think we are a one man team, I think we have 3 key players that we need on the field and in form. Orr, Randall & Purdham. Dorn is not an organiser and that is not why Mac bought him back here. Its more about combinations and Orr and Dorn is a good combination with Danny steering the team around magnificentlyand takes real control of the game, Dorn on the other hand has a good running and passing game and excellent support game but he will never be able to do what Danny does.
The main issue with Sunday was that Orr and Randall were off and I think these days that 9 & 7 are the key positions in a team and it certainly is the case with us. We have two organisers in the team in Randall and Orr and to have them both off at the same time is always going to be extremely tough for us. Mind you take out the 9 & 7 from most teams and they will struggle.
We are not in the position to have good enough players in those key positions yet but I am sure that is what Mac is planning with lads like Kaye and Gale. But unfortunately we have to wait a bit for them to get up to where we need.
