I thik the conditions limited most players ability on Sunday. Plus the fact he's also only 18. I would be happy if Huddersfield board/coach thought the same as you. Bateman is going to be one of the best back-rowers in the game. If you signed him he would become a player you built your team around for the future.

I've nothing against the lad.I'm just saying that on Sunday's showing I wouldn't be rushing out to sign him. But that's only one game.



Even so, I still think we've already got enough 2nd rowers who are better. If he's as good a prospect as you say I think the Bulls will be hanging on to him if they are able.

Agent (and possibly people at Bulls) using lazy press to get a bigger wedge from Wolves in transfer fees.

Personally can't see it- we won't be able to afford him-if we are having to loan out Lunt to keep our current youngsters!

lets face it if hed been around a few years earlier Browny would have made him a second rower by now so probably the best time to pick him up
