we hope that lolesi and raleigh might be back but raleigh would be unlikely to be match fit although he is a tough bugger who puts in a lot of hard work and recovers well.
Have heard nothing on Kirmond. However it was a cheekbone so may be quite fit.
We play catalans at home and then Hull away. |

As it stands Saints are going to be playing kids in the semi, but even those kids are getting injured.
Lomax is or 3rd choice hooker and he is out for upto 6 weeks.

Faasavalu
Cayless
In addition Cunningham may be banned.
Wheeler who would probably play left centre is also most certainly out of the semi final. As is Jonnie Lomax.
Eastmond and Flannery have mumps which is likely to leave them physically weak, and also cause them to have lost weight. They will be able to play but wont be physically upto it.
Gidley also struggled on Friday having returned following a leg injury.
Therefore i think you guys have an awesome chance to make it to the final.
The week before the semi we play Wigan which is likely to take a couple of other players out.
I suspect Wigan will do a job on Eastmond, as they did in 2005 to Long to ensure we dont win anything.'"

There was no broken cheek bone or anything broken at all. Check out the Wildcats own website. He's playing next week. He got a knock and that's all. Cunningham was given the benefit of the doubt by the RFL in terms of his intent, and intent plays a major role in whether or not someone should receive a ban (which I think is fair enough).
The whole thing was a big drama. It didn't look much when I saw it on the Superleague Show and seemingly it didn't look much because it wasn't much!
(Cunningham got a formal caution, incidentally - which is on his record for three months I think) |
