You are correct Fred, I feel it is my duty to support referees but only when it is justified because some of the flak thrown at them is from habit rather than reason. The point I am making is that there are people on this forum who (in my opinion) overreact to any criticism, and I mean any, of the team, coach and in particular the BOM. It is damn near paranoia from one particular member.

The other point is the fact that new members are jumped on if they are critical, they are accused of being at worst trolls or at best not leythers. It isn't as if we are overrun with members since most have migrated to the adulation, heavily censored fans group on Facebook. We could end up we half a dozen members saying, "aren't we good" everyday.

I don't give a monkeys what anyone posts on here and you can post what you like as far as I am concerned. Btw I don't object to anyone having their own opinion.

I agree. Some are massively positive, some are much more negative but everyone should be allowed an opinion. I don't agree with the people who seem to feel anybody who has a criticism of the club deserves to be slated.



However, if you join a Leigh Centurions forum full of Leigh Centurions fans and your 1st post is:



"The most inadequate fans on the planet and I am a Leigh fan. So clueless about the game of rugby and everything surrounding the club.



The majority of you who post on here are an embarrassment to life, let alone the club. 86 - 0 and still people moan.



The worst thing about the club? The pathetic, dull and insipid fans."



Then you can't really expect to be taken seriously or made welcome. Especially when the rest of their posts continue in the same vein.

Not a troll...just a moaning/negative git then....why not post something positive for a laugh !!!!

Chutney I'm afraid to say has done exactly what his aim was to do. It's Friday and we are all still talking about an incident last week that Derek has publically apologized for his part in. chutney is in my opinion the kind of person that wants to bring our club down (for what ever reason that is) and not see it continue to rise, as it obviously is doing.

I'll bet a small fortune that PR and the boys have not looked back since the game review, when I can guarantee PR spent zero seconds pointing a finger at a single moment that had anything to do with a Bradford misdemeanour or a bad ref call.

I for one am drawing a line under this and any other post that looks back at the Bradford game unless it is a post that draws from that game in a constructive manner for our team going forward.

My 15 year old son was born in Canada (so not born on the terraces of Hilton Park like me) but when he watched the game with me (I refused to tell him the score) he said he has never seen a more entertaining sports game in his life. He was leaping around in the second half at the great rugby our boys were playing.

That is what I am going to remember from last week. Our team entertained 7500 fans in the ground and countless more over the Internet and LCTV.

AND most of all, we beat the favourites by playing great rugby in the second half.

Last week is history folks. Let's not continue Chutney's negative agenda for him.

It's funny you should make comments like that Reffy as I was the brunt of some of yours and someone else's over zealous responses after making just three consecutive comments about some refereeing decisions. I also defended a poster on here who I thought was getting bullied by quite a few on here of which I think you were one. Criticism is something that you have to take on the chin. Personal attacks are different. Oh buy the way that was a question the "your not a Leyther are you Chutney" one. I just can't be bothered with punctuation sometimes. Sorry.
