| Quote Leyther_Matt="Leyther_Matt"From the 'fees' paid and influence on the LSV, you might well swap the top two there.
I always keep my ticket stubs for no reason other than I always have done, but they come in handy for any abandoned game etc.
As for Sale, they do own Edgeley Park but there isn't much scope for ground improvements and the pitch is a mess. Would probably make a fair bit of coin if they sold the place, and would certainly go straight to the top of the LSV wish list, I'd imagine.'" what.sale relocating to a town full of flatcappers and whippets your avin a larff

| This could surely benefit both rugby codes in Leigh if it were to happen.
Lets just get shut of Wendy ball altogether at the Stadium, its unsightly.

| If you think football damages the pitch Dave, wait and see what 8 months of rucks and mauls in the rain does.

| Well we all know they'll be sharing at Salford's new ground very soon.
I can't see Sale playing at the LSV either.

It would certainly suit Salford to be in bed with Sale over the new stadium. If they were to play in the same brand new stadium I think you could see the first 3G pitch used in SL and RU.

| What and rugby union isn't. The fact of the matter is, Leigh Genesis whether people like them, support them or whatever are a part of our town and the LSV should be working by their side and trying to help them reach their potential as a club but the LSV are only interested in £££££ and forcing anyone out who aren't meeting thier standards finanically. They (LSV) are greedy pigs and we don't need them in our town ruining our clubs, they nearly did it with Leigh East and it looks like they are succeeding doing it with Genesis.

Well I am not a big footie fan but Sale's treatment of Stockport County would suggest that any RL club would be very unwise to share a stadium with them.
I also understood that the LSV was for the benefit of Leigh's sporting clubs and to that end I feel very aggrieved for Genesis.

| As far as I know we were promised a community village, all the clubs bought into this concept. They brought whatever they could to the table, in return they became Partners and they were allocated certain rights, be it % shares, rights play at the stadium, pay x amount in rent, run the pavilion, etc.
The way I see it LSV Co. job is to sell the spaces not allocated to the Partners, not to kick them out. I don’t mind Saints/ Sale/ Chelsea or whomever training on the 3g Tuesday afternoon (assuming its empty then?), but if someone said the College couldn’t play their game on Wednesday afternoon because of one of these, I’d be truly P’d off.
I go watching Blackburn Reserves there but I don’t think that should be at the expensive of Genesis.
Maybe it time the Partners got themselves together and reminded LSV Co, who they actually work for?

| Quote Alan="Alan"That would depend on Centurions' 'gates', as they pay the LSV a percentage of the 'gate'. So, for example, =#FF0040LSV would be 'quids in' on the last couple of 3,500+ 'gates', compared with some of last season's attendances of half that many. Do Rovers pay a fixed fee, or do they too pay a percentage of the 'gate'?'"
Alan I can`t see LSV being of the same opinion. My source tells me that Centurions pay 10% thats approx £4k in revenue.based on the figures he gave me, Last seasons average of 1750 would have generated approx £1900 per fixture x 13 approx £25k, he also says that Blackburn Rovers pay around £5K for the use of the stadium per fixture. If these figures are factual then it doesn't make good reading.
