Sale won't be playing at the LSV, the pitch has been designed to take RL and soccer and NOT RU.

So in a nutshell, the pitch couldn't handle it!

Is it not possible to lay another pitch that would be suitable for all three ?

If enough money is offered then they will find a way. We've already found that out when the pitch could only handle 30 games a year or whatever it was....that soon changed, didn't it?

I believe that was because, with the pitch being brand new it needed a bedding in time, thus thats were the 40 game rule came in.

From what i've been told its not now a matter of HOW many games, its the to do with recovery time for the pitch.

And in recent weeks it's been proved that that can be ignored as well - for the second time in a few weeks LGFC are at home on Saturday and Centurions at home on Sunday, while there's the obvious trio of Challenge Cup games as well. Let's face it, nothing is set in stone and any of their 'rules' can be changed on a whim, probably as the LSV realise that less games equals less income.
