I wish Leigh all the good luck next year , one of my fav team after Salford. Just wondering your thoughts on getting promoted next year and whether u think SL reducing will up the quality even more this year. Will this make it harder for Leigh or do u expect any teams to drop to the bottom and take lots of heavy beatings, point wise and confidence wise?

Thanks. I think if we play as well as we did last year with the improvement in fitness from going full time we'll be promoted. For 6 years of franchising the bottom of SL has stagnated & so there's an overlap in quality with the top of the Champ, especially now everyone has improved with the extra funding & chance of promotion. Super League is going to realy improve in qulity in the coming years as clubs either improve or are replaced & I think a few might be.

Personally I think we can beat any of the bottom four, especially at the end of the season when, as you say, they will have lost more games than they have won - also all the pressure will be on those teams and a losing team tends not to have much confidence, especially when there's so much at stake. On the other hand, any championship team that makes the top four will be bursting with confidence and out to prove a point. All I know is that it's going to be very tasty.
