If any team goes undefeated in all the Championship league games this season I'd wager they will be in SL next year as that would be some momentum.
Personally I think it will be the toughest comp for a very long time (its been a while since every result of every game has really mattered) and can't wait for next Sunday!

Thats a fair quote, and momentum will be the main word come the top 8.
I fancy Leigh and Bradford against the bottom 2 SL teams, should we only lose 1 or 2 all season.
If a SL team starts getting 'wupped', I fear they will not be in SL next year. |

Our only hope is that one or more SL team is on the slide come the middle 8s. If the bottom 4 are all equally matched and battle-hardened because it's been a tight race at the bottom, then what chance have we on half the salary cap?
Now I know you'll point to your wonderful cup run but this is a mini-league situation and I do question whether either you, Bradford or anyone else could compete like that again.
I've always believed this is fake promotion simply to appease aspiring clubs such as yourselves, but I would dearly like to be proved wrong. |

Does the fact the bottom club of super league will have possibly spent 800K more on their squad really mean the 17 vs 17 will be unequal? I certainly believe not, the team work and culture built at our great club by Paul Rowley over the last 3 years is priceless and would cost a lot more than the 800K difference.
We are a young ambitious team who whether with Leigh or not the majority want and deserve to be playing in SL. I wish i could get a bet on now for finishing in the top 3 of the middle 8 as i would bite the bookies arm off!! |
