Depends on the value you put on 'non-competitive' ie friendly games. It would also seem that one or two players are not performing to the standards they set in the three friendlies

For me, twenty minutes in one game does not define a season......not 2 games in anyway!! Lets at least get the group stages out of the way, and play a couple of Champ games before we refund everyones season ticket and shut up shop, eh??

Only playing devils advocate...I may have more to say after Batley and Featherstone in a few weeks mind.

Bit early in the season to make a decision on what will be a tough fixture or not as its early days for everyone but Hunslet have done well thus far in the NRC so will be no push overs.

I think it could be a tough game on Sunday and the players will need to be fully focussed for 80mins, hoping Duffy is back and we can get a bit of consistancy going in our performances and team selections.

I'll be happy with a win by 8, Will be very pleased if we play as we did v Barrow.

on sunday after arriving back from sheffield i was very depressed, and not just because frank shirked his final round

no i do not like losing, show me somebody who does. However it was the way we lost that upset me, but now some 3 days later i have turned that thrown upside down, and feel a bit more comfident, the crowd will be similar to the last home game, the result also similar, and fingers crossed we will have duffy back (boy we missed him at sheffield) and bibey back, so all in all we will be fine.

I you watched the highlights two of the best tacklers in the game dropped off two that allowed a Sheffield players a free run to the line. I would say that is just a glitch on the system that will have been put right this weekend. I'm very confident that we will win easy.

End of the day the season means nothing does it? no promotion no relegation and I have forgot do we have to jump through any hoops to get the tick,the tick mind you, does nearly going bust count against you? mind you widnes went belly up and still got up.



Main thing is get through the season without going bankrupt again will be worth more than any trophy

Or alternatively Matt sit at home - as I will probably be doing - to watch my favourite football team on a channel that I have already paid for. Rather than £18-00 extra to watch my favourite Rugby team (and as a point of interest, I only paid £21-00 to sit in the Kop last Sunday).
