What positions do the two Wigan lads play charlie?

Lyon-Fraser is a fullback and Powell a halfback.



Still can't see PR having duels in for those positions if we can fill them with our own contracted players.



Maybe the question will be put to PR at the next Fans Forum.

what happens when the parent club gets injuries,we probably de register them then go for another.come the end of the season have they got enough games in to play in the play offs.if we have lots of injuries (like this year) all the hard work will be for nothing again.dont know if the rfl have changed how this will work or not.

if its been mentioned already soz must have missed it.lookin forward to the new season though.

I could only tell you what Paul told me, which as I see it we will be having some dual reg players from Wigan, he didn't say how many, he didn't say we won't be having any from other clubs other then we can't have any off Wire and Saints as theyve "twinned" , he did say it was his decision who played and who didn't. So I beleive what Paul said .

However its has its disadvantages like last year when Laithwiate played the majority of his games for us and because Hull had him for a couple of weeks on loan it stopped us having him in the playoffs, it should go off how many games they've played in a season IMHO.

We ended up with loads of injuries at the businbess end of the season and only had one dual reg player available to us, if theres a chance of this happening again, Id rather not bother at all.

We still are playing catch up and dont have enough funds to have just our own playrs unfortunately if we did, Im sure paul wouldn't have any duals at all.

Like I said umpteen pages back your wasting your 'breath' Lynda most would sooner believe pub rumour than fact.

One is a Full-back the other is a Winger .

With McNally, Kes & Pownall we don't need another FB but we definately need wingers with McGilvray & Clay now gone & a centre wouldn't go a miss hopefully a centre that's not a DC though.

The positions of the DCs we are talking about will obviously depend on what PR , thinks the club will benefit from , ive seen a couple of the Wigan lads , and think Joe Burgess the winger is lightening fast , along with Lewis Tierney ,i think with hopefully Spencer returning in our forwards we are fairley well covered in the Pack , and at Half -Back now .



Our current Squad is looking very strong , and a couple of good young DCs will put us up there maybe ahead of Fev next year , Wigan have some Quality lads , why not take advantage of them .

I'd say that for most fans of Leigh Centurions no-one knows the full details of the link with Wigan and I'd imagine most have more questions than answers at this minute in time.

I'm surprised the club haven't officially commented thus far, indeed it probably fuels the rumours that Fred alludes to as without anything 100% factual from the club people will start to jump to conclusions.

I'm getting the hang of this now.





The RFL is still clarifying its position on these links, twinnings, partnerships, marriages, liaisons, couplings, or whatever you want to call them.



However, as of yesterday when our CEO was asked the question outright, there is no link with W***n. He steadfastly refuses to comment on something that hasn't been done, beyond his comment at the last Fans Forum, that Leigh will never become a feeder club of W***n, or anyone else in Sooper Dooper League.
