It really begars belief some of the comments I am reading on this board. Grow up and get behind the club and sod everything else. Why have a dig at people who may or may not know anything about what is going on. Is it just jealousy that they are at the club or is it something else. I want this club to prosper and when the right people are ready to tell me everything is ok without lying I will be happy. I'm not reading any more of this crap and I'm just going to look for positive threads that are telling me we are safe. I am upping my contributions to LISA in an attempt to help, lets all do something and be positive.

No he didn't, I didn't see it first time round but have just watched it on I-Player. He mentioned the negative nellies rather than crushed them and admitted that he hadn't a clue how bad the situation was and what was ahead in the next few months. It wasn't the positive spin that you seem determined to spread.

An interview would have been better timed to when he actually had something to say.

I think Trevor Barton as CEO, even if only temporary can only be a good thing.

I am not Trevors biggest fan , but he has put his hand up to help , and therefore he should recieve whatever help he can be given



Last week LISA contacted the club to suggest an appeal was made at a game to get another 1,000 fans signed up to LISA , and that the club approach the Corporate Club to match the equivalent amount ( £ 60,000 ) to secure the short term future of the club , this commitment to be from now until the end of next season , basically to give the club a guaranteed £ 120,000 next year as well as seeing us through the rest of this one



Hopefully we will receive a positive response from the club on this , if we do , it will be the intention to print 2,000 LISA application forms , with a message from the club explaining the reasons why on the other side , these forms to be given to every fan as they come through the turnstiles at the Dewsbury match



Hopefully an appeal from the club to be given at half time at the match , and once again we would need volunteers to give up one hour of their time to not only give out these forms but to impress upon everybody entering how important they are

How about the club offering season tickets to LISA members at a discount ?



OK, I know in hindsight it would probably cost more for the individual, but would give the club a fine base to work on.



Its been 10 years since I withdrew from LISA, but this could be one way of getting fans back in the mould to help and having a consistant income as a result.
