I want to have a team that has been put together by the coach who is in place, because I am sick and tired of hearing these players were not the current coaches choice. Also with any delay in appointing a new coach we will lose out on certain players no doubt.



Either keep it out of the press, or incur the wrath of supporters......any good coaches in the amateur game, who won't always have one eye on other coaching opportunities.

Im a Basil fan, but if he wants to go let it be NOW,not in a couple of months time, as for a replacement,i also think Martin Crompton could do a good job,we must act fast if Basil is going,as for the MEN,i wouldnt take much notice of them.

This needs to be sorted out soon though. A lot of young players will be attarcted to Legh to work under Millward, if there's uncertainty about who will be the coach we're going to lose them.

Millward was only ever coming back to the UK to coach in SL. No one could expect anything different. Now Leigh have effectively been told we've no chance of getting into SL, who can blame him for moving on. Leigh's chances of getting into SL where probably exaggerated to him to get him back in the first place. He clearly didn't know we were in serious risk of relegation when he agreed to come back. Good luck to him and I hope it works out. But we need to bite the bullet, let him go and start to look for someone else. We can't afford for it to drag on, with players and potential players uncertain about who will be in charge.

He knew exactly what the state of play was here, it wasnt a secret exactly was it?

About what? Some plonker on a forum saying loyalty is mainly limited to fans, or forum/newspaper talk about the possible coming and going of coaches/players? I don’t know him well enough to answer on his behalf but I doubt any of it will be a complete shock to him.
