The people moaning about Ben Jeffries are probably the same people who didn't want Rowley as coach a couple of years ago and are now singing his praises. It's funny how things change.



At the end of the day none of us have seen Jeffries for 2 years and he wouldn't have been signed without doing some homework. We need someone like him to create competition and also to teach Brierley (if he stays), because I think Ryan still have a lot of developing to do.



Give the guy a chance, he hasn't even pulled on a shirt yet. His age is irrelevant to me, he's obviously kept fit and with 2 years to heal all his niggles from SL I'm sure he'll be raring to go when he starts.

It is a step down, because instead of playing Wigan, Warrington, Leeds, Saints and alongside the likes of Hock, Chase, Locke, BJB etc he’ll be going to Fev, Doncaster and Swinton.

Salford looked OK in the forwards but I'd rather have Hankinson than Tomkins at centre. Nearly there for Salford but Leeds are better than they were tonight. and I won't mention stand offs.

Charlie was at the Salford game last night , I thought Salford did OK , I spoke to Marwan before the game , a very interesting chat , and bumped into Ryan Brierley

who said he was fit and raring to go at Spotland tomorrow .
