After Lancashire's first class game earlier in the week, that isn't saying much!

Leigh with a bigger HT lead over York than they had last time!

I once remember being on a beach with my kids and digging a big hole and building a wall of sand and rocks around us to keep back the incoming Pacific Ocean tide. We did a valiant job keeping out the ocean and ended up with half the beach in the hole with us fighting against the inevitable.

“Resistance is futile” comes to mind.
