You look at the side where all this happenec.the linesman looked like he was still in nappies.how can a young kid be let officiate on a game this big..yeah the ref was poor but the only time the linesman came on was the once sam did have a go back and to diisallow two of our tries

As already said if sam is as bad as it sounds(hopefully not) the guy should never be allowed on a rugby field again.if that happened in the street he would probably get a jail sentence.

Didn't go tonight so can't comment on the way we played but hope Barlow recovers quickly. And I hope that Harrison didn't set the players out to injure Leigh's players. Fair enough hit them hard and fair but not injure them

I hope they do. No place for that on a rugby pitch. I have a few times on here slammed Sam for his antics, but no-one deserves that on the pitch and I hope he recovers quickly.

Referee and linesman were inept and let it spiral out of control. Linesman looked like it was past his bedtime and ref wasn't fit enough so slowed it down all day. Made very odd calls both ways.



Was old fashioned, brutal - a heart thumping encounter and fact we won showed immense character.



Challenge on Barlow though looked so late and premeditated it doesn't surprise me police interested. Hope it's not as bad as initial reports.

Hope sams alright. Far too many times I've seen games boil over and it all kicks off because of the referees incompetence to makes decisions and send players off.

To hit someone so hard off the ball that you crack their skull is a total disgrace. If you did that outside a pub on a Saturday night you'd be charged with GBH.

Not doubting anything people have said but is it official that Sam is in hospital with a fractured skull / bleeding etc or was he sent for precautionary tests?

Don't wish to offend anyone but the lad will have family and friends maybe not reading it on here but certainly picking up on whats said from comments on here and a precautionary scan to ensure everything is ok (whilst still unacceptable from an off ball RL incident) is a lot different and a lot less worrying than to him heading to hospital in a emergency ambulance with bleeding on the brain.

Have the club put anything out on twitter to state how he is?

Poor Sam, I hope he's OK. I couldn't go tonight but it sounded brutal on the radio and on Twitter and it was obvious that he was deliberately targeted throughout the game. I hope they throw the book at Manning.
