I don't think this is the place to talk about who pays and who doesn't because no one is forced to pay, but out of the hundreds who use LeighLife every single day, we just need a few who are willing to put their hand in their pocket and help towards running costs. We have over a million hits every month, in fact most months we have about a million and a half, and it's the best community website by far so you'd think that wasn't too much to ask. (I don't count this one as it's a rugby forum)



Not sure what it's got to do with you who pays and who doesn't anyway Reffy seeing as you're banned.

Yes I know I am banned but still don't know the real reason. When I was a member I paid £2 per week while some of the Members Council couldn't be d so I don't see why the begging bowl doesn't go to the "In Crowd" first. If your own won't pay then why should anyone else?

Can't you remember stealthily setting up your own clone LeighLife website Reffy, like a busy little bee, stealing all our gallery and wiki content? I'd go see a doctor about that if I were you.

Just to set the record straight I, in common with most people, would not have a clue how to set up a website. But fortunately some people did and I was invited to join along with a few others who were sick of the dictatorship and petty censorship on Leigh Life.

The gallery and wiki content belong to LeighLife regardless of who put them there and if your lot don't have the imagination and wherewithal to create your own, preferring instead to copy the whole lot, I'd call that stealing.



Dictatorship!! Don't make me laugh, how much more of a dictatorship can you get than having a locked down site with only certain 'agreeable' members invited to join.

Well actually its MY Gallery and Wiki and yes I did most of the work thank you for asking.



If some others think they deserve some praise, maybe one person does because he contributed more than most but some seem to like to over play the role they played. I don't classify reading the thing and pointing out spelling mistakes as a major contribution to anything.



As for you, you were removed from the site not by me (the dictator) but by the members council, made up of a selection of your peers who were just sick to death of your nasty, argumentative and bullying ways (nice to see some things don't change). Oh and please lets not forget that at least two of your lovely "friends" where included in the seven who voted to expel you. In fact I can dig out the vote results if you like because it was a unanimous vote and I still remember it very well because I laughed my socks off for days.



And they were the ones who put the petty censorship in place which we've now got rid of, your all welcome to each-other because you all deserve each-other and LeighLife has gone from strength to strength now the problems have left. Good riddance to the spiteful and self important.

If you have gone from strength to strength why have you got the begging bowl out.......... and I must applaud your demanding of contributions rather than asking for them.

Your ego must be suffering a hell of a shock to find yourself in difficulty particularly as some of your long servers aren't supporting you. The irony of your situation is that most of the members who left (for a multitude of reasons) would have contributed immediately.

Your memory definitely is going Reffy, don't you remember me saying earlier that it's because the site has grown so big?





If you don't believe me you can look at the stats on Monday when it's switched back on (oh sorry you can't because you're banned) but they're there for everyone else to see and you can see that the month you all left (about Jan 2011) the stats shot through the roof and have continued to grow since then.



As I said earlier, we are a victim of our own success.
